Gamirasu cave hotel - one of the most amazing hotels in the world, offering tourists a five-star service when staying in a real cave. Gamirasu Cave was opened in 1999 on the territory of the former Byzantine monastery in the Turkish region of Cappadocia, 300 km from Ankara. Cappadocia has a lot of cultural and historical attractions: famous underground cities and centers of ceramic art. Human settlements in local caves appeared in the fifth millennium BC. Tourists from the coast of Antalya often come to Cappadocia for excursions. And in order to penetrate the local atmosphere and literally merge with the mountainous landscape of the area, you should definitely stay overnight in a real cave town. Moreover, the hotel is located in the center of Cappadocia, in the town of Ayvali in the resort of Urgup. Initially, the cells of the monks of the monastery were located in 18 small natural caves, today they are converted into rooms with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in an external building, made of local volcanic rock.

A night in a standard room costs about $ 90. For this money, the guests of the cave apartments receive an ascetic room with a bed carved from stone, a bathroom, a hairdryer and a telephone. Such cells are in demand among those who want to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the old monastery, without denying themselves, however, the usual amenities.

The deluxe room category costs $ 110-130 per day and has a stone terrace overlooking the valley.

Many suites are equipped with a spa bath, minibar, LCD TV and DVD player. A night in them costs from 150 to 350 dollars.

The most luxurious Eagle Nest Deluxe Suite features a fireplace, a bathroom with a jacuzzi, a sauna, a minibar and other amenities. Such cave luxury costs about $ 1,000 per night.

The price of each room includes fruits, fresh milk and local honey.

On the walls of many rooms preserved frescoes painted by monks a thousand years ago. The oriental style is supported in the decoration of the rooms: carpets, textiles and antique handicrafts.

Any of the rooms of Gamirasu Cave is absolutely soundproof. The volcanic rock in which the caves appeared perfectly protects from external noise. In addition, a wonderful microclimate was established in the caves: it is cool in summer and always warm in winter. However, the rooms are equipped with central heating.

The hotel has a restaurant, an outdoor pool, and a picturesque garden is located near the entrance to the caves. Meals at Gamirasu Cave are available as half board. For breakfast, guests are offered the usual buffet, while dinners are held in a traditional style and include six meals.

For those who are afraid of losing contact with the outside world in the caves, the hotel has Wi-Fi. Those who, on the contrary, strive to renounce reality, can attend the Sufi rite - the traditional dance of stray dervishes.

Gamirasu Cave is wildly popular among exotic lovers, as well as those tourists who just want to relax from the hustle and bustle.
