The Center for Aviation Accident Data Analysis (JACDEC) annually publishes a list of 60 companies with minimal unpleasant incidents on their flights. Of the Russian carriers, Transaero and Aeroflot are on the 16th and 39th places, respectively, on the JACDEC list.
